Five Years After the Quincentennial, It,s Time to join us this October in support:

International Day of Action Against
Peabody Coal Co.
Wednesday, October 8

U.S. Federal Building
12 Noon Demonstration & 1:00 PM Press Conference
Broadway between Worth and Duane, NYC
(2 Blocks North of City Hall )

Two days before Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement for Jewish people, join us to demand the US govemment atone for its genocidal policies against thousands of Dineh (Navajo) people in the Big mountain / Black Mesa region of Arizona. The US must ends its colloboration with Peabody Western Coal Company and stop the forced relocation. Thousands have been forced to relocate to the "New Lands", downstream from the largest nuclear spill in US history, contaminated when a dam burst, releasing over 100 million gallons of radioactive water into the Rio Puerco River. Today, the Justice Department continues their active role in forced relocation.
